The exterior was painted in September of 2023 and shortly before, the previous tenant added beautiful landscaping. The property is well maintained and welcoming. Other recent projects include sod in the front of the house as well as a charming white decorative fence. The 373 square foot unit is the mother-in-law suite and is located behind the main house. If you're worried about storage, this unit also includes the garage space, which is large enough for a car as well as personal storage. Note: It is open on the side facing the courtyard. There is a small privacy fence between the main house and the suite. There are entrances to both sides of the suite as well as to the property in general--the alley and also from the the street side. In addition to garage parking, guests may also park in the alley or on the street. There is a shared washer and dryer located within the enclosed porch, out of view for residents. The unit has a galley kitchen with working stove and refrigerator. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated by the previous owner in 2019. All utilities are included in the rent, including internet. Some lawn care is required of the tenants (weeding and planting if desired). We take care of the mowing, tree trimming, and quarterly pest control. If tenants want the interior of their units sprayed, it is available for $20. I'm a private landlord, so there's no middle-man to deal with when there are issues. I'm hands-on and take care of things as quickly as I can. There are already tenants living in both units of the main house--duplex. They are incredible people who do their part to make this property awesome. We all do. Please do not disturb them. The mother-in-law suite will be occupied until late April. I'm only going to rent to an individual--no couples or families. This is simply due to the space, city code, and my budget (for utilities, amenities, and wear and tear).
