IT Project Manager

Major duties include:
Manage a variety of high-level IT projects with management, lead the coordination and execution of critical development activities. Tracking, analyzing and coordinating multiple, complex applications development projects using principles and guidelines of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) methodologies. Develop, modify or provide input to project plans such as the Project Management and Acquisition Financial Management Plans, Cost Analysis and Technical project documentation. Provide feedback to leadership and other project stakeholders through appropriate reports, meetings, briefings and information papers, both formally and informally. Conduct, or provide oversight for the performance of special studies and analyses for senior leadership that has a national impact and/or priority which may receive congressional and media attention. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-14 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. experience in contract administration such as managed services that consist of numerous service product lines, numerous vendors, and hybrid support teams. Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-13 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes:
develops and reviews various types of contracts, techniques for procurement, acquisition requirements documentation, leads or participates in contract technical source selection and evaluations, serves as Contracting Officers Representative to monitor purchases or contracts for IT services, equipment, products, supplies, property, or other items. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:
Project Management Oral Communication Contracting/Procurement Customer Service Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Note:
A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment. Physical Requirements:
The work is sedentary. Some work may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel and to attendance at meetings and conferences away from the work site. Some employees may carry light items, such as papers, books, or small parts. The work does not require any special physical effort. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
