We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Business Office Manager for our skilled nursing and rehab facility, Golfview Healthcare Center in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a part time position and prior experience in accounts payable in the skilled nursing setting is required.
Summary:
Supervise, coordinate, and perform business office functions under the direction of the Administrator in accordance with sound accounting practices.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related combination of experience and education.
Minimum of three (3) years related experience.
One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience required.
Knowledge of accounting practices.
Must be current with industry regulations and compliance issues.
Ability to operate computerized financial programs.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
