Director of training
JOB PROFILE:
Direct the administration, development and implementation of commercial and industrial training programs. Provide liaison to various operations and business units. Key responsibilities include: Direct the conceptualization, design, and implementation of training programs. Secure public recognition and certification of industry training programs by utilizing and networking with business associations and agencies to obtain and maintain accreditation. Based on needs analysis, develop and coordinate the scheduling of the design, development, and implementation of new certified OJT programs or revision of existing programs to support productive industry performance. Supervise 4 people. Interface regularly with senior management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, or related field preferred.
- Five or more years' experience in business or educational administration focused on training and development of industrial or technical workforce
- Certification as a workforce development professional preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
