Leading global medical device company is seeking an experienced financial reporting manager.
Requirements:
CPA required (doesn't have to be active) with a minimum of 4 years, preferably with a Big 4 CPA firm
4th year senior, ready to be promoted to manager, or a recently promoted manager
Prior experience in foreign entity consolidation, business intelligence/consolidation software and US GAAP financial statements preferred
Knowledge of current US GAAP regulations in financial reporting and footnote disclosure
Previous experience with ERP based accounting systems, business intelligence systems, and computerized consolidation systems
Ability to effectively coordinate and communicate reporting needs
Strong background in Microsoft Excel formula writing and macros required
Knowledge of SAP FI and business intelligence/analytics software experience a plus
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review US GAAP financial reports
Manage quarterly elimination work papers supporting entries to global financial statements
Assist in application of US GAAP standards and performing lower level consolidations
Interact with external auditors working on the annual audit
Research current accounting disclosures and trends to ensure compliance
Manage valuation of Intangible Assets, perform impairment analysis, and assist with M&A accounting
Mentor staff accounting group
Assist in preparation of external reporting schedules to government entities as required
Lead non-routine projects in regards to GL impact and reporting requirementsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
