Senior Regional Counsel
The candidate provides a wide range of legal consulting, advice and other legal assistance to management and other attorneys in the legal department. Provides legal advice and transactional support to management within assigned region for the company and its regional subsidiaries. Supervises and manages delivery of legal services from outside legal counsel within the region assigned. Supports compliance, ethic programs, litigation and corporate governance matters. Develops and implements legal services management plans for assigned region, departments, legal areas and special projects and provides legal and transactional support pursuant to those plans. Reports directly to General Counsel. Works independently supporting the Region reporting to General Counsel and works with other lawyers to provide all legal services to the company in the assigned region. Develops and implements legal services management plans for assigned region, including all subsidiaries in the region, departments and legal areas. Establishes priorities for delivery of legal services. Advises management, commercial advisors, outside experts, accountants. Provides direct legal services to various departments. Communicates and interacts regularly with business clients and global legal services team in order to deliver high-value added legal services. Advises on legal aspects of firms business within the assigned region using sound legal and business judgment and experience. Furnishes legal advice with respect to administrative functions and prepares resolutions. Manages and participates in hearings before government bodies. Prepares and reviews proposed contracts, leases, and other legal instruments to safeguard the organization s interests. Supervises and controls outside counsel legal work. Supervises and manages other members of the legal department. Manages discovery and litigation. Negotiates and drafts agreements for various transactions, including financing, merger, acquisition and disposition, raising of capital and business development. Oversees compliance, ethics and company governance issues. Keeps informed on emerging legal and regulatory trends important to the company and supports the creation and implementation of appropriate risk management strategies. Develops and interprets organization and departmental policies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
