As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of facilities and equipment within an organization.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and direction.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the team's efficiency in completing maintenance projects.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, safety procedures, and updates.
Maintenance Operations:
Oversee and participate in the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services.
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to reduce equipment downtime and extend the life of assets.
Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of systems and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history.
Budget Management:
Assist in the development of the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Source and procure maintenance supplies and equipment, negotiating contracts when necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce and promote safety standards, ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations.
Conduct safety training for maintenance staff and address any safety concerns promptly.
Stay informed about industry best practices and changes in regulations affecting maintenance operations.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with other departments, providing updates on maintenance activities and addressing any concerns.
Report to upper management on the status of maintenance projects, budget adherence, and potential issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge across multiple maintenance disciplines (e.
g.
, mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
