Petersburg.
Our ideal candidate would have previous hospital and healthcare experience.
Kindred Hospital Bay Area - St.
Petersburg and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 95-bed hospital with 82 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital beds, we offer the same critical care that patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period.
Comparably, our 13-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness.
Our team plays a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.
We are located at 3030 6th Street South, Saint Petersburg, FL 33705 south of downtown St.
Petersburg where 4th Street turns into 6th Street, between 30th and 32nd Avenues, with easy access to public transit.

Job Summary Provides administrative/clerical support to one or more departments.
Coordinates the effective functioning of the credentialing process to ensure compliance with State and Federal requirements, accreditation standards, Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and applicable policies and procedures.
Essential Functions Composes and responds by email to routine correspondence.
Coordinates schedules, makes appointments, and arranges travel.
Creates and maintains electronic spreadsheets and databases.
Coordinates and schedules meetings, prepares agendas, reserves, and prepares facilities and records and transcribes meeting minutes.
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Performs all aspects of credentialing, including appointment, reappointment, privileging, and proctoring.
Responsible for the coordination and effective functioning of Medical Staff clinical department and committee meetings to ensure compliance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and applicable policies and procedures.
Maintains confidential credentials files and electronic medical staff database.
Exhibits a high degree of responsibility for confidential matters.
Skilled in the development and use of spreadsheets and word processing applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
Ability to organize, prioritize and follow-up.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Approximate percent of time required to travel:

Must have good and regular attendance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Organizes facility and market level employee engagement events, Physician functions, and Charity events.
Responsible for procuring materials necessary for community sponsorship events (giveaways, collateral, etc) Tracks progress of facility and market dashboards and reports back to COO and MCEO for follow up prior to meeting deadline.
Manages and keeps track of facility licensures, due dates, survey dates and notifies the COO and MCEO as deadlines approach.
Coordinates with facility Administrative Assistants to collect data/information/supplies needed for market level initiatives.
Collaborates with facility Administrative Assistants to identify best-practices and implement reporting standardization Must be able to manage multiple tasks/events at once while simultaneously partnering with facility level Administrative Assistants to ensure tasks needed at the market level are completed.
Qualifications:
Education High school graduate or equivalent Licenses/Certification CMSC certification preferred.
Experience Experience with credentialing initial appointment and reappointment applications in an acute care hospital.
Experience with preparing medical staff department/committee meetings and composing minutes.
Experience with or direct involvement in a combined accreditation and licensing survey at an acute care hospital.
