) The Wastewater Plant Operator Trainee performs entry trainee level for wastewater plant operator line of work; receives training, education, and experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, monitoring, maintenance, and/or repair of pumps, motors, treatment systems, generators, and related support systems; performs collection, analysis, reporting, and processing of a variety of samples; performs routine work and obtains on the job training and guidance from more experienced staff when completing non-routine tasks and functions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
