$16.
00 per hour start with a shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts (when available).
The Valpak Manufacturing Center is 470,000 sq ft and we are looking for motivated technicians to ensure a high quality product is assembled and mailed for our nationwide customers.
The St.
Petersburg center puts it all together for direct mailing to households in more than 140 major markets across the country.
What we need from you is your desire to work and produce a quality product that you are proud to put your name on.
Education/
Experience:
Twelve months or more experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is preferred.
Basic computer and office application skills.
SAP experience helpful.
Basic to intermediate math computation.
Overtime and weekend work may be necessary.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Monitors Collation and production machines and equipment in a team environment, to ensure a maximum efficiency level following process specifications.
May independently monitor and operate machines and equipment.
Minimizes machine downtime by troubleshooting and adjusting various mechanical and software components of the machines using technical manuals, hand tools and training.
Gains knowledge of the process and elevates non-routine system issues to the Senior Process Technician.
Performs computer entry tasks required in various work centers Participates in training in conjunction with the VMC Progression program to improve knowledge and skill related to the Process Technician position.
Follows a planned program of continuous learning to complete all mandatory skill blocks.
Maintains current skills required for the position, and may pursue additional learning through optional and/or limited skill blocks.
Performs related work and additional duties as needed or required.
