Summary:
The Development Officer is responsible for cultivating new and existing donors and stewarding their philanthropy specifically through the management and oversight of event strategies and logistics.
Works in close association with other gift officers and the marketing/communications coordinator and delegates responsibilities to volunteers.
Cultivates and stewards relationships with corporate partners.
The Development Officer translates the case for support, into key messages that resound with the specific audience.
Required experience includes:
3 years Marketing Related AND 3 years Event Planning with Associates Degree OR 1 year relevant experience with Bachelors Specific Skills:
Delegation skills; Work independently; Interpersonal skills Work with a team; Administrative and clerical skills Computer skills appropriate to position Critical thinking skills; Customer service skills Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position Management skills; Organizational skills Written and verbal communication skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
