Quick Apply Full-time Part-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description West Florida Yacht & Marine, LLC is hiring several individuals to work within the firm's exterior maintenance team.
Primary tasks include washing and drying vessel topsides, light polishing and detailing of fiberglass and metal surfaces, cleaning of other exterior surfaces such as canvas, teak, upholstery, and isinglass.
More experienced candidates may perform fiberglass repair, recurring vessel inspections, and apply basic repairs to ensure equipment and systems are clean and functional.
Keys to success are being reliable with a keen eye for detail and demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Candidates must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina as working on boats presents certain challenges.
While not required, ideal candidates will have a passion for boating and being on and around the water.
Candidates may be asked to assist with running client vessels during trips and serving as mate.
Training is available but some experience with exterior cleaning and/or boating is preferred.
