8 Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description This is lead supervisory and participatory work of a physical nature involving the application of manual skills and knowledge above basic laboring at the Northwest Water Reclamation Plant.
Work requires skill in training, instructing, organizing work crews, and determining procedures to carry out assignments received through written and oral instructions.
Work includes the operation of automotive equipment, specialized machines, equipment, power tools, and building maintenance and operational support equipment.
An employee in this class personally participates in the work, may perform the more skilled and difficult tasks, and performs heavy manual labor, occasionally under adverse weather conditions.

Applicants must:
Have a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency.
Possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Have some supervisory experience.
Have some knowledge of materials, methods, and techniques commonly used in manual construction and maintenance activities.
Be skilled in the operation of various hand and power tools and automotive equipment.
Be able to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
Acknowledge this position is designated as Emergency Critical (EC) and if hired into the position, you must be immediately available to the department before, during, and after a declared emergency and/or disaster.
